Day 10. And I am finally finished.
And I have to say I am happy about it! lol.
Originally I thought I was suppose to go for two weeks, but as this week progressed, I knew I was released to end my fast.
It was a very cool experience. Right now I feel very spiritually strong, my spirit feels stronger than my flesh which is an amazing feeling. The trick will be seeing the temptations and the trials come and facing them head on instead of allowing them to bowl me over.
This was a great accomplishment and to be honest, fasting is one of those things that I have always wanted to be doing regularly, but it just seemed too difficult. Now that I have successfully finished a 10 day fast, I am overwhelmingly confident that this may be something I can incorporate into my spiritual walk more often.
Pastor I think prays and fasts a couple times a week, if not, at least once…..I admire him for that.
I have seen God move, I have heard His voice and I am starting to see answers, although not in all the things I was seeking for. Some things, take a little more than a one time 10 day sacrifice, and at this point, my flesh is content to wait on the Lord.
