So I am just about completed with one day of my fast. The last thing I ate was yesterday for lunch…….it hasn’t been much of a problem. Probably because I am extremely determined to hear from God.

Some of the things on the hot list?

1. Direction for the worship team and the church- Not sure how many of you know this but I am very involved in the leadership at Crossroads. It is an amazing honor to be a part of something that God is obviously all over. We have some big things in front of us and I will be very honest when I say, “…we can’t get there from here” or at least, it doesn’t seem like we can. But I have seen God do utterly amazing things….borderline “yeah, right” type stuff in the past year, so why not this time? He will. I just want to make sure I am on point when He starts leading and directing…..both for my team and ministry, as well as the church.

2. Direction from an employment point of view- It would be nothing more than a dream come true to go on full time staff at the church. I cannot begin to tell you how much I love Pastor, Rob, Bobby, Beth, Joy, Herb, EVERYONE involved. I believe 100% of the success we see is derived from the synergy created from our leadership team and staff members! (I get a quarter for working “synergy” in there!)

3. Drummer and other help- I am in desperate need of about 3 drummers…..but we also need more of everything else too. I need people who aren’t drama queens….no divas! I need people whose hearts are in the same vein as mine and the team I have now….to serve and nothing more. It’s not about us, it’s about Him who sent us. I need worshipers with like minds and hearts!! I needed them yesterday! I am ready to see God move.

4. Get my Flesh in check- I will be honest, I HATE THE FACT that my stomach pretty much rules my life. We as people don’t need HALF the calories we eat. Let’s face it, we are GLUTTONS. Almost EVERY ONE of us. Do you realize how many calories are in a Whopper meal? You better check….lol. Humans need about 2000 calories a day…..why does my stomach seem to need 5000? (and the bowl of ice cream after)

5. Finacial issues…… Do I really need to explain? lol.
