Totally excited tonight….
I actually got a call from Kristene today. For those of you who don’t know, she is a worship leader signed by Jesus Culture in California.
Kristene was on my worship team when I was serving in Niagara Falls.
Let’s just say I pushed her outside of her comfort zone more than a couple times!! lol. I remember specifically wanting her on the team because she was not a seasoned piano player at the time…..which meant, I could mold her and get her to play the way I wanted her too, instead of being “a piano” player.
We actually reminisced about the first time I made her lead a song……even at 17, she had an incredible anointing. You cannot even imagine how shocked I was when I googled her and found her signed to a label and leading worship practically all over the world!
We laughed today cause she said that when she is asked who her “major influences” are, she names me. That’s funny cause I am a NOBODY! HAHAHA. The follow up to that question must always be, “Who’s Joe Miller?!” lol.
Anyways, it was awesome to catch up, and talk about her recording experience, playing experiences and the whole deal. She is awesome and I am so very proud of her…… and a little jealous! ; )
